ok u know im not the smartest guy in the world(well yeah yeah i am),

but can some one tell me how to remote threw to anouther computer if...the computer im connecting to is behind a router firewall, connected threw out severail defferent hubs, networks.

What would i need to know to be able to connect to it?? and how do i get that information??

and if u need more information just ask ill get u what i can.

It the computer is using a pubilc IP number, then that is all you need unless there is a firewall that is blocking port 3389. If the computer is using a private number, then there is no way to do it.

If you have a private IP where you are, then there is no way to get a public one where you are. The only way to make RDP available on a machine that has a private number is to set up a reverse NAT and a port forwarder on the router/firewall that connects to the internet. In that case, it would be the router that connects all of moorehead to the internet.

You should just be able to type in the ip address of the remote computer.

no shampoo if i type in ipconfig /all what ip is it.... id be outside the firewall in my room, on the RC, and and if i try to connect to 192.186.1.104 i dont get anything..... what else do i need...? what ip....? where is waldo...? shampoo like that....
