I had one of those, but I never bothered locking it. Unfortunately mine broke. but I still have the manual. It says that when u come to the screen asking for your security code to unlock the phone type in the code. If u didnt make one. The default code is 1234. If not that ur screwed. My advice then is to yank the battery out and try again.

ok i need to unlock the SIM where the phone will work with any service provider such as cingular, varizon, AT&T. when i load the phone up it says enter subsidy pass. It can be up to eight numbers. I've tried 1234 and 0000 which are usually motorolas lock numbers still nothin. If anybody finds NE thing to help me out it would be awesome.

I had a similar problem with my old old phone... I never could figure it out so I took it up to the Cingular booth and they had to give me a new SIM Card... which really sucked.
