With a few randomly acquired parts,
$13 case with a $13 mail-in-rebate (Spray painted Black by me, in the room, you want to talk about getting High lol)
$55 ECS 945gzt-m mobo $10 mail in rebate,
$22 (Opened Box) LG DVD burner
HAD for some time now:
$47 Celeron D 2.53gHz (haven’t OCed yet)
$32 6200 LE (OCed 432/1.22),
$74 One of my Seagate 250gig HDD’s
From the DELL:
Gig of ddr2 533 (2x 512)
PSU
Basic total: $235 + S&H.
The only real savings is the RAM.
My roommate and I are using it as the Home Theater PC in the room running the audio in to his surround sound and a monitor to my KVM and one out to his TV. Sorry I don’t have any good temps for you I haven’t found a temperature monitor that supports this mobo. The laptop has turned into the uber bitch of PC’s who only serves as a wireless whore downloader lol. However, I plan to put my wireless card, that I let Samus use for the time being until he gets a hub for his room, so I can use it as my DLer.
I am impressed with how fast the burner runs, and how smooth the Celeron D runs windows 64bit. Have Yet to have any major issues except alcohol 120% not liking 64bit but I think I found a way around that. I still have yet to fully test its gaming ability, not expecting too much of a difference between it and my 6800.
Poor Lappy It's on the KVM as well (no ps2 ports so it has a USB mouse and keyboard for itself) so I dont ever have to pull it out.
Oh and this board does support Core 2 Duo's so if there is ever a need to upgrade, poof, and the price of the 7 series have gone down quite a bit so maybe for my birthday it will get a little upgrade. Just figured I'd let you guys know that I pretty much have a computer I could loan out for a LAN party in the future (that is if I am attending it lol).

Ok so as I have explained to a few people over the past week or 2 my temps
have been crazy high in my real desktop like 49 to 56 stock frequency and
it's really been pissing me off. Today I updated the bios for my mobo, and
just look
I'll try to push it a little more these next few days but i'm finally happy with
my computer, all thanks to a little 2 year old bio's update.
I have also over clocked this desktop too 3.04 ghz, (133(2.53ghz) to 165mhz)
and its now idle at 42* (sorry no screen shot maybe next week).
