yeah I hate that no one wants to play anymore. It died when we played A.A.(lol), it's like that game stopped unity for the majority. I think really it might be at the time people started to put machines together and started playing what they liked and learned what they didn't like, so we got this big uproar about what to play and we started to stop playing.
I think the few attempts at BF2 would have worked if the game would have. And Far Cry would work if it had a half way decent menu to change maps in the server in game play.
What would really do it over, in my mind, and, get the gaming together is play a class Fav. of mine and others--Star Craft (or any other old fashion RTS). Star Craft seems to be a little faster pasted then other RTS, and easy to pick up. Unless it's RA2 (I think the theme would be a little wrong thou), its fast to pick up as well and I think it has a setting to speed game play up 10x which would make the rounds faster, and supports more players per map. But i think to get away from the FPS one LAN would make it the next FPS LAN have more participation and fun.
Although what will really bring life back into LANs is........UT2K7 which i think will come out just in time for my summer LAN (AC included this time lol)
