it depends on what you are looking for. I have a dell that I got for 1300 and it suits me fine. I have had it for 2 1/2 years and still performs fine. I am looking to get a new one soon though. Dell give lots of bang for the buck but they are in no way a true gaming computer. Go to Alien Ware, VooDoo, Falcon NW or something along that lines for that.
